These aren’t your everyday obedience classes. I will teach you the science and behavioral fundamentals that will be the foundation for all the future training to come.
I cover in all obedience courses the science of Operant and classical conditioning, dog learning theory, marker training, nutrition and toys, concepts in motivation, proper management, and any at home issues you may have.
Upon graduation from this course, your dog will have learned these skills and you will be equipped with the know-how to continue your training in any facet.

I provide comprehensive accredited training that follows the guidelines of ADI (Assistance Dogs International) for service dogs. I test and certify your dog for public access and teach you the guidelines of the ADA to follow.
There are no federal programs provided by the ADA for service dogs which leads to lack of reliability and comprehensive training for dogs working to mitigate a handlers disability. Having the experience to properly evaluate, train and maintain standards of service and safety should only be done by those with extensive professional background. I have the years and thousands of hours and experience to facilitate a productive pairing and partnership.

If you are looking to have your dog evaluated for working potential or are looking to acquire a dog for professional work please inquire at the phone or email listed above. Due to the number of inquiries regarding such (and sadly not yet discovering the ability to duplicate myself) I have limited resources and will only take on new clients though if I’m confident I can lead you and your dog through the entire process to ensure a successful outcome.
I have extensive experience training and certifying dogs for service work, scent detection, therapy, and other areas that require specialized experience in those dedicated fields. I also on a regular basis lead classes on a variety of canine sports such as rally, obedience, Barnhunt, odor detection, agility and FAST CAT. I work with all breeds and all owners regardless of experience level. These activities are designed to allow your dog to fulfill their genetic drives which is an incredibly rewarding experience for many owners. Most of all though, my philosophy is while these sports are competitive the goal isn’t to win but to enjoy the remarkable memories you and your dog(s) create along the way
